take me down the rabbit hole

happy friday! tim burton's alice in wonderland officially opens today and i can hardly wait to see it! i'm a fan of the story of course, but i think what's going to make the film really special is the visual beauty of it. check out these sketches by the costume designer, colleen atwood who referenced the illustrations from early editions of lewis carrol's 1865 classic when designing the costumes for the film.







eek! i can hardly wait!

    I am so excited too, it is going to be a big night out, dressed up with tea and cakes :)
    The illustartions are beautiful, it's amazing seeing them brought to light.
