last week was a major buzzkill. what i thought would be a quiet week at work, turned out to be crazy busy and in combination with several school projects, i nearly pulled my hair out. fortunately, i had a fun night out with girlfriends on friday, and taking time to relax over the weekend was just what i needed.

 

on another note, how adorable is this little guy? his name is hendrix. my friend manon just adopted him and i got the chance to meet him a few weekends ago. i would love to have a little guy like this someday...

hello again...

hello blogging world. it's been SO long! i can hardly believe my last post was from 2011... i suppose sometimes life just gets in the way. since my last post, i started a graduate program at FIT (while still working full-time) and am about to start on my second semester. I worry i won't be able to keep up with posting as often as i'd like (school really has a tendency to take over my life) but i figured i would give it a try anyway.

i spent the weekend with some of my lovely friends from my undergrad FIT days to celebrate joan's baby shower. jill and christie left the city a few years ago so we don't get to spend as much time together as i'd like. the four of us hadn't all been together at the same time in quite a few years so it was a treat to catch up and hang out like the old days.

i'm grateful that even though so much time has passed, we have sort of friendships where we can just pick up right where we left off. i'm so thankful to have these ladies in my life.

how did you spend your weekends?

hi friends! i'm back from my trip to argentina! i took the redeye sunday night and got into nyc monday morning at 6am so i was pretty much a zombie all day at work. aside from the plane ride back (really long and i couldn't sleep at all), the trip was amazing! for now, i leave you with some pictures from the plaza san telmo antiques market i went to in buenos aires.

i can't wait to show you more pictures from my travels! hope you're all having a good week so far.
